# Can I attach a third-party USB-C power supply to the VT200?

Yes. You can connect a compatible **third-party USB-C power adapter** to the **VisionTek VT200** to provide power to your laptop through the docking station.

The VT200 supports up to **100W of USB-C Power Delivery passthrough**. If your laptop requires more than 100W, the VT200 cannot pass through the additional power required.

**Important**

- A compatible USB-C power adapter can be used with the VT200.
- The VT200 supports a maximum of **100W of Power Delivery passthrough**.
- Your laptop must support charging through its USB-C port.
- The power adapter should provide enough power to meet your laptop's requirements.
- The VT200 cannot pass through more than 100W to your laptop.
- Actual charging power may vary depending on the power adapter and your laptop's power requirements.

For the best charging performance, use a USB-C power adapter that meets your laptop manufacturer's recommended wattage while staying within the VT200's 100W passthrough limit.
