Does my DisplayLink dock charge my laptop?

Yes. All VisionTek DisplayLink docking stations support laptop charging through a USB-C-to-USB-C connection.

The amount of charging power provided by the docking station varies depending on the specific model.

Please check your docking station's product specifications to find the maximum USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charging power available for your model.

To find the Power Delivery (PD) specification for your docking station, visit the product listing for your specific dock. The maximum charging power is listed under Technical Specifications. 

Important

Laptop charging requires a USB-C-to-USB-C connection between the laptop and the docking station. A USB-A-to-USB-C connection does not provide laptop charging.
