Does the VisionTek VT1200DL charge my laptop?

The VisionTek VT1200DL can provide up to 100W of power passthrough to a compatible laptop when the dock is connected to a compatible USB-C power adapter.

Connect your laptop to the dock using USB-C and connect your compatible USB-C power adapter to the dock's power input.

Important

  • The laptop must support charging through its USB-C port.
  • A compatible USB-C power adapter is required for power passthrough.
  • The USB-C power adapter is not included with the VT1200DL.
  • When using a USB-A connection between the dock and computer, power passthrough is not available.
  • Actual charging power may vary depending on your laptop's requirements.

The VT1200DL can provide up to 100W of power passthrough, but this does not necessarily mean every laptop will charge at 100W.
