Does the VT8100DL charge my laptop when connected through USB-A?

No. The VisionTek VT8100DL does not provide laptop charging when connected to the computer through USB-A.

For laptop charging through the dock, connect the VT8100DL to a compatible USB-C host connection.

• USB-A host connections do not support laptop charging.
• Up to 100W Power Delivery is available through a compatible USB-C host connection.
• Your laptop must support charging through USB-C.
• The dock's power adapter must be connected for Power Delivery.
