Why is my laptop not receiving power from the VT200?

The VisionTek VT200 supports up to 100W of USB-C Power Delivery passthrough. To use this feature, a compatible external power adapter must be connected to the docking station.

Important

To use power passthrough:

  • Connect a compatible USB-C power adapter to the VT200.
  • Make sure the power adapter provides enough power for your laptop.
  • Make sure your laptop's USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD).
  • Make sure the USB-C connection between your laptop and the VT200 is secure.
  • The external power adapter is sold separately.

If your laptop still does not receive power, check your laptop manufacturer's specifications to confirm that the USB-C port supports charging or Power Delivery.
