Why is my VT100 docking station not charging my laptop?

The VisionTek VT100 is designed to expand your laptop's connectivity through a USB connection. It does not provide power delivery or power passthrough to charge your laptop.

The VT100 connects to your computer through USB-A, which does not support the power delivery features available on some USB-C docking stations.

Important

  • The VT100 does not support Power Delivery (PD).
  • The VT100 does not support power passthrough.
  • The VT100 cannot charge your laptop through the dock.
  • The VT100 should be connected directly to your laptop's USB-A port.
  • Use your laptop's original power adapter or a compatible charger to charge your laptop.
